How to Make Basic Chicken Meatballs
Here’s a twist on a classic. It’s a meatball stuffed with cheese! All you need is 10 minutes to prep and these bad boys can be on the table in less than an hour.
Something this delicious should be complicated to make right? Nope! In fact, this couldn’t be easier. Combine your ground chicken, eggs and breadcrumbs and mix well with your hands. Make a small patty with the meat mixture and place a small cube of cheese in the centre and form a meatball around it. Experiment by adding your own seasonings and different types of cheeses, such as mozzarella. Coat the meatballs in bread crumbs, place on a greased baking sheet and pop them in a 375ºF oven for 40 minutes. Makes 48 meatballs. That’s a lot of meatballs!
Works well as a main dish or serve as an appetizer with toothpicks and a tomato dipping sauce. Freeze any remaining meatballs and have on hand for quick dinners and surprise guests.
