Fresh ingredients and a good recipe are all you need! Here is a mouth-watering recipe for a French classic – Coq au Vin.

Morocco

Moroccan cuisine is known for its rich, vibrant flavours. Infused in popular dishes you’ll find cinnamon, coriander, cumin, saffron, turmeric, mint, dried fruit, and nuts.  Meat dishes are often cooked in a tagine, a clay pot with a closed lid which acts like a slow cooker. Try our Moroccan-Style Ground Chicken and Couscous for an easy way to bring Morocco to your kitchen.

Japan

Japanese cuisine stands apart from the rest. Using a combination of sweet, sour, salty, and bitter flavours, each dish is unique in taste and texture. Sesame seeds are a commonly used garnish in many dishes, and are chalked full of nutrition. Try this Sesame Crusted Chicken with a Wasabi Cream Sauce to get your fix of flavour and crunch.

Peru

Peruvian cuisine has a long history and draws influence from other cultures all over the world. Much of the cuisine revolves around native ingredients that grow easily and in abundance, such as quinoa. Quinoa crops were even considered sacred by the Incas. Did you know that quinoa is actually a fruit, and comes from the same family as spinach and Swiss chard? It’s also high in fibre and gluten-free. This Peruvian-Style Grilled Chicken with Inca salad recipe is sweet, spicy, and is served on a bed of delicious, nutritious quinoa.
